Alright so i have been looking at used sc300 5spds.
Their was a 1992 white 5spd at a dealership. It shifted okay but get this it had a rust spot next to the windshield (idk how that even happens in southern california), worn out rotors, the steering wheel was worn out and had a cover over it, it was missing the radiator cap, broken lcd climate control, the trunk's supports were broken so you had to manuelly hold the trunk up, AND the rear bumper was replaced and the white paint was chipping off it and exposed green underneath. Did i mention the car had 120k miles.
Now get this the guy wanted 6500 for it. Now here is the funny part, the guy talked about the car as if it was A STEAL because it was a toyota supra. OOh and get this he said he bought the car 5 months ago for 5700.

I like edmunds way more then kbb. It gives you the sale value unlike kbb which gives you the list value. According to edmunds the car is only worth like 3400.
It was really funny tho the guy talked about the car as if he was selling the toyota supra for 6gs. I'm just sad the salesmen was only like 25 years old, if the guy was older and more experienced I would have had a sale.
ooh ya i offered 4000 straight cash.

lol Sc's and supra's look NOTHING alike.... they just share the same parts and certain potentials. The dealer must of came from "another kind of deal" earlier in the day.... crackheads

I forgot to add this but he said he bought a 93 red sc at 180k for 7k and sold it for 10k 2 years ago. I almost started laughing when i heard that.
It seemed like a family operation to me. So my guess is that salesmen got ripped off when he bought the sc and now doesn't want to sell it at its fair market price since his parents/boss would be pissed.
I mean honestly any legit salesmen would be dieing to make a sale on a car thats been in an accident and been sitting on the lot for 5 months.

He was using the fact that they share parts as a reason to justify the ridiculous high price on the sc. Which is complete bs since at retail that doesnt matter. A sc will be a sc while a supra will be a supra.
