Default Driving with an old battery in the trunk is a bad idea

Because it will tip over and leak acid in your car for a day or two until you notice it dripping out from the drain behind the wheel well. It's not fun to clean up

i have a decent age yello top in my truck for my sound system its just mounted on i seen these plastic bat box at wal mart i might get it a mount it to the side so it looks clean

happened to me before and it destroyed my leather jacket..! that sucked.

hmm hope you guys learned your lesson. battery = acid = eats away. sorry for all you guys though.

isn't there also the potential of them exploding on impact if your car is involved in an accident..

My battery is in the trunk because its relocated there.I didnt mount it because the mounts were too short.

lol that happened to my buddy in his s13 coupe, he had a big puffy jacket to kinda hold it into place. It then became a pile of mush lol.

Well at least I'm not the only one who has done this. Now my parking lot is stained where it was dripping.
