Buying a 97 SC400

After you have it for a while you might be pissed you didnt go for the '99 for the gated shifter, VVT-i engine, steering wheel, etc. but other than that I would say go for it if it is mechanically sound. I have a '95 pushing 190k and it still runs beautifully.

Wait it out, go for a 99 or 00 if you can find it. I've been in both and it may not seem like you would notice, but the vvti's extra horses and torque are actually noticeable. If you're in a hurry for some reason though, I'm sure the 97 would be nice. Just my two cents.

Haha, thanks for the info. I don't know if I can wait any longer for an SC, I've been waiting since I was in JHS for one and actually found a great condition, SC4 in my price range.
