Bout time someone mentioned this. My 97' bumper friends all thought I was crazy. Most you will see on my car is 97' sides. I don't like their rears and I much prefer 95-96 tails. Now if only I could find new or just good condition 96 fogs. Any good sources? Car looks great buy the way

Broken SC400 lips were becoming road hazards? They were made of rare plastic? Toyota saved the money to start the Scion division?

Get this...(I mentioned this to Peter earlier) But for some reason....'92-'94 SC400 lips are $100+ more expensive than that of '97+ front bumpers...WTF? Just call up any Lexus dealership and see what I mean.

for reals... these lips are growing rarity so they want to charge whatever they want.
The whole factory kit from lexus for the is350 is only $200 bucks and painted... that's a bunch of bs....

Here's a good example...One Lexus dealership quoted me a price of $480.50 for a '97+ front bumper (Typical dealership price)....A '92-'94 SC400 lip?...Try $593.15!...Stupid I tell you! I tried asking the parts manager why such an outrageous price for a simple "Incomplete" piece of plastic accessory, when a full "somewhat complete" front bumper is cheaper....Naturally, he declined to comment. I was dumbfounded

As ricey as it sounds, matching lug nuts are not always bad. There is a black NSX with gold Volks and he has blue lug nuts to match the Project Mu BBKs. Arguably one of the best NSXs I have ever seen.
