Okay after much criticism and ideas from some of you guys here on CL, I finally agreed to do what some of you guys "suggested" Here are some pics...

1) Lip has been painted to match.
2) Sunroof visor has been removed.

The only thing that's kinda irking the hell out of me is that the lip is shinier than the rest of the car since the paint is brand new.

Looks really good man. If I still had the 95 bumper I would definitely rock the 97 skirts. Know what would be cool...if you found a way to integrate the 97 grille into the 95 bumper. Kind of like the Wald kit.

P.S With a styling cue taken (More like "copied") from Peter, I've decided as well, to have the lip painted to match the rest of the car...Will post pics soon when the lip is done.
Joel, so your going to, in your own words, "sell out"

I'm thinking of removing my sunroof visor also, how's the difference in wind noise, wind circulation, etc? I have a piece of non-OEM crap that the previous owner left on and I've been wanting to remove it.

That's a bit complicated to answer since I have the OEM JDM Soarer visor one(w/that wind flap in the middle) and it's different from the one you have. But one thing to be very considerate about is, since that visor may have been on there for a while, when you go to remove it...the visor may leave an abrasive mark in the pattern/shape of the visor itself and it's there permanently with no way to remove other than re-painting it the whole car...so you may just want to leave it on forever, unless of course, the abrasive scratch won't bother you.

I own a '95 and '97. The '95 is sits around as a spare parts for my '97 these days, but I still love it.

Back when I was rolling around in it, it got much attention and praise despite being completely stock besides the Borbet Design E rims. Because of the SC's styling has aged so well, people that weren't very knowledgeable about our cars usually confused it as a 2000+ Lexus. I also prefer the spoiler of the older SC over the '97 redesign.

I am concerned about the possible abrasive scratch and/or the color discoloration since it's been sitting in the same spot for 13 years. I like the look of the deflector and I like its job, but I'm just curious how it would look without it. It would look a lot sleeker, but less unique IMO.

I went to a tint shop and the guy thought it was a 2005.

the other day I went to my insurance office to fill out some loan paper work with my father. We walk back out to the car and right as we are about to get in the car ... guess what pulls up?.. The cleanest SC I have seen in my town. It was a 1996 Bordeaux Pearl SC300. MINT paint, mint interior. Lady was driving it in her upper 40's early 50's. I asked her the year (knew it was 1995/1996 instantly because of the bumper).. she said 96' and I asked if it was for sale, she gave me this nasty *** glare and said "NO!" and walked off.. Whatta *****! oh well. beautiful car!
