Looks good, but you either have to get a bodykit or slam it some more because it lacks that something. I think either one of those things will make it even better...

yeah it looks nice but drop the car, or drop it more if you already have. The back end looks fine but the front could use an inch or two drop. Just get some 2 inch drop springs with a moderate spring rate so it still feels alright, and get some decent shocks and youll be set.

hey man,

front tires are 235/40 (i think). Rears are 275/35 and they rub!
What size do you have? How long did your old pirelli's last you? Where did you go to get them? I'm gonna need to stop by a tire place to talk to ask them about my rubbing problems...

your car is gold too?

BTW, I went to the costco near the 5/405. They're really nice there. No scratches on the rims at all. $9 to mount each tire
If you ever need to do that stuff, you can go there...

They rub? *****. I know we discussed this before Howie, but I forgot, what's the width and offset on the fronts and rears bro?
Oh, and I think they look great, but she does seem to be sitting a bit high, even for stock suspension, have you replaced anything under there or no? I've been noticing a bit of a difference in wheelwell gap, even on stock SC's, talked to a couple SC-pushers 'round here, they noticed the same, and ride height didn't correlate with mileage (thought maybe springs were just wearing a bit and settling). Mine sits pretty low for stock springs. Anyway, didn't you say front and rear offsets were in the high 30's? You'll need something closer to the stock offset, I think you said the rears were nines, so you'll need something more like a +45 fitment, but there's definitely room for error back there. DoLuck, where's those pics of your car?

My wheels are 18x8 +37 and 18x9 +38. That's what Mackin gave me. They suggested that I go with 265/35-18's for the rear, but I went with 275/35's...that's probably where I went wrong. It rubs that little inner fender lip when I hit some uneven pavement and when I make sharp turns (cuz of body roll). I rolled the fender a little bit and it took care of a lot of the rubbing, but it still rubs. I guess I'll have to roll that fender some more...

Yeah, the suspension is stock. It is strange that some SC's look lower than others. I've noticed the same. Also, my driver's side rear seems to be slightly lower than my passenger side rear. (no, I'm not a fat guy) My passenger side hardly ever rubs...

Yeah, when I first towed my SC to the shop to start work on it, the interior was bare of any carpeting, paneling, instrumentation, seats, not even door handles. The car sat high, about 4 to 5 inches of space between the fender and the tire. Now that I have a huge 100-some pound box in the trunk and fully upholstered cabin, my springs have compressed to about a 1 1/2-inch gap. It's even 3/4-inch lower than the front wheels.
