I retrofitted 93' ES300 yellow projectors into my foglight housing and im running 3000k xenon depot pnp kit thru them 
super yellow
Alot of people slow down to see what kinda car is coming up behind them at night haha

I have 3000k hid's in my 97 foglight
they don't look nearly as yellow (looking at the light; but the objects they illuminate look yellow)

Yeah i started out with only the 3000k kit and i didnt like how they looked (pee yellow) and they were blinding also.
I tried to deline my lenses, but failed lol so now im riding with no lenses.
This is the only pic i have since i took the lenses off, can barely see..ill try and get some later. I kinda like it since the chome housing shows and looks "blingy" but i say that kuz i dont want to buy new lenses LOL

Kill the fogs and daytime running lights and it would look sexy 
I agree that there is too much going on right now though. The parking lights in my '95 really threw off the clean HID look inside the headlight housing...so... away they went! Car looks great though, man.
