bomex spoiler
#18
Here is the Bomex sponsored SC.
Rear spoiler stretches SC into something other than SC.
Mostly mistaken for Prelude, 240sx, Z28 (yea, trying to figure that out)...
I can tell you that the body kit is functional at higher speed

Nice first picture, but how can you know it's functional?
Did Bomex release a wind tunnel result sheet? orrr?
No offense, but just curious. Function is always good.
I'm not too partial to the spoiler or kit.
I can see why the spoiler makes the car look like an S14. Sexy AT THAT ANGLE.
I'm not too much of a fan of the rest of it. It just looks like an unwelcomed attachment rather than helping further accent the SC's lines.
again, IMO.

Because I drove w/wo full kit.
It is more stable with the full kit.
Wind tunnel??? Hahaha!
I do not think so.
Most of body kit companies do not have resources conducting the wind tunnel test. However, some of them tweak their prototype body kits at the track. I do not know if Bomex does any testing on their body kits.
I think the rear spoiler from the full body kit has most effect on high speed stability. Furthermore, the body kit does not make any difference unless you are going over three digits. I am not talking about brief acceleration to three digits either. Well, it serves a purpose for now. :

C-West tests.
Blitz tests.
Didn't think Bomex would test, but it was worth a shot.
So, I don't mean to undermine you or your aero, but if you can feel it at over three digit speeds, brief accel up to not included, where is it that you can sustain triple digit speeds for a good while? Drag racing? But that's brief. Auto-X ? Never really three digits.
Track days? Not quite quick enough.
Again, no disrespect intended. I'm just curious as to where people with the said aero can actually take advantage of what the aero design has to offer.

Yap!
No disrespect intended. Search in Youtube and watch it.
You are from TX.
You should know where people go to do that stuff.

What is "Yap?"
oh and search what? I tried looking for stuff, but only found Texas World Speedway.
An enclosed track, Nascar style (ew) haha. Either way, if you like the spoiler and consider it an asset aerodynamically speaking, kudos to you for finding it.

No disrespect intended. Do you even have a SC?
Please put up some pictures of your SC.
Whatever floats your boat buddy.
Cool!

Again, what is yap?
No, I don't have an SC, but I'm on this board anyways.
Sarcasm.
Here she is. Just got her a month ago. Nothing too special.
Just MK4 supra front susp., MB Battles +17R, 245/40/17. fronts unknown offset at 225/35/17. Corbeau seat, ummm...t'is all, really.
Just got her, so still thinking of what to do.
So yes, I have one.
Paint's not bad for a 92, IMO.
