I'm bummed ... my SC400 just passed a milestone.
I was driving yesterday and decided to put a few gallons in the tank (it's now less than $2 a gallon for Premium - yay!). I looked at my cluster to see how much gas I had when I noticed that I just passed 50,000 miles. that averages out to 3,333 miles per year.
I'm bummed. It was always great to be able to tell an admirer (of the car) that it had less than 50K miles on it. Now I'll have to tell them it has less than 51K miles.

It's a '93. it has some issues (driver's side window garnish cracked, paint chips, R-12 needs recharging, etc.) but she's aging well.
I actually have a pickup as my primary driver and was thinking about selling her ... but cannot get myself to do it ... at least not yet anyway.

A 93 with that low mileage and a "few issues" and you want to maybe sell? Your joking right? Those "issues" can be fixed with a $5 tube of epoxy glue, $10 tube of Lexus touch-up paint, and a r134 conversion kit for under $40 at Autozone. Plus Autozone rents free of charge, professional grade AC r134 gauge sets, and a vacume pump, if you want to do the conversion yourself. If you feel this is just to much to stomach (since the car is just too far old and is almost a goner!), please...please sell me the car!
