Guys,
I recently purchased a set of HKS Hyper Damper coilover for my SC400. According to the seller, one of the coilover is leaking oil. I don't know how severe this is but I would like to fix the problem before installing it on my SC400. Do you know any place that overhauls coilover springs in Los Angeles area?
Thanks,
Peter~

Sorry, can't answer your questions ... but as I have been looking for someone with a HKS suspension on an SC4, I just have to ask a couple of questions:
Which model do you have? Hiper Damper II? Did you get the ones for the Supra? Part Nos?
How do you like the ride? How hard is it compared to the stock setup?
Sorry again to post questions instead of an answer ...

For something like that I'd look to a motorcycle repair shop, since the shocks on bikes are more like the ones you have than on nearly any street driven car.
I had a leaky Koni(old school, oil) once on my old Cortina, fixed it myself with some hydraulic jack oil,and a new O-ring.Not sure if your shocks are gass charged, however, and if they are, you'll definately need to find a specialist, either way,you might want to do the pair, since there's a slim chance that the replacement fluid will be exactly the same as what was in there.
