Default need some advice on supra seats.

Sup, was wondering which year supra seats bolts right onto the sc? im trying to reduce weight on my car and been wanting to get rid of my stock seats because they are old and ripping. and they also weight a lot! since i dont have rear seats, carpet, rear plastic panels, seat belts, empty trunk, except for one 12" sub n amp. after i get a hold of these supra seats. ill take my car to the scrap metal yard and hopefully they let me weight my car hahas.

Thanks
Davis.

well it depends if you are ready to change you're driving position...drastically. All years of the MKIV supra will bolt right in no problems. There are two kinds of seats though. The 93-96 version has an adjustable headrest and will lower you an extra 2". The later ones from 97-98 had a fixed head rest and will give you 3" extra head room. I found some 97-98 seats a put them in my car. I needed the headroom desperately (6'5" btw) and did the job perfectly. They need new upholstery and they could use some extra padding, and some seat heat. Overall I'm pleased with my seats, but for some people they say the positioning of the seat is too low for them.

Then they must have never driven a sportscar before. Coming from my MR2, sitting in the SC feels like sitting in a semi-truck.
