Default I need help w/ factory Nak amp

Has anyone ever encountered a problem where the factory amp would drive everything except the sub?

I bought a new amp thinking mine was shot and that didn't fix the problem either. Upon further investigation I realized it was not the amp that was the problem. If you wiggle the harness you can get it to work, but it WILL NOT work when the coupler is plugged in. There is no way to make it work without the plug being in the right spot. I took the car to a custom audio shop and they could not figure it out either. I think I will need to replace the harness, that is the only variable left to eliminate.

I'm out of ideas and am hoping someone has experienced and overcome this same problem. Thanks.

Id there a cut in the harness or no? If it is rubbed down in one spot where the harness goes it could be shorting to ground or power. It could also be a connector and the prong might not being making full contact making the sub not work. Where in the harness did you shake it anyways? Later>>>
