this is my 3rd winter driving the SC. 5speed, no trac, no abs, welded diff, regular all seasons...it all ah okay

i just put my all season on yeasterday...and its been snowing for like 2 weeks already.

up until yesterday i was driving on my toyo drift tires. when i took them off the chords were showing. lol. maybe thats why it didnt want to hook up

its not that bad to drive our cars in the snow. last season was pretty bad and there was 2 times i got stuck and only couldnt drive one day due to amount of snow.

I'm plowing mine through the snow in Minnesota with regular all-season tires. I get no traction, but it's not as bad as the '78 cougar I drove back in the day :P . TCS helps slightly. The snow setting is absolutely awful though and I'll never use it again. I do need some sandbags to throw in the trunk. Definitely wish my heated seats worked................

If I wasn't planning on moving to LA before next winter, I would've bought a beater to drive in the winter..

I drive mine, All-seasons, 5-speed, no TCS, and my ABS isn't working currently, but I do great in that car; just have to avoid certain intersections (hill + turn + heavy traffic = NO). Since I'm so poor now I only drive on my way to work, so I'm not too worried about it, clear main roads the entire way.

This will be my 3rd year doing it, before that it was my Turbo Buick, so this thing is easy (comparitively).

If I make it through this winter without crashing I think I'm home free; just 6 more payments to go and she's all mine!!!

I drive my 1jzTT 5sp soarer in Canadian snow (yes our snow is more dangerious , lol) I don't have traction control or ABS. all you need is good winter tires (I use bridgestone blizzaks) and you wont have any problems!
