wow baoser... really? that must have been hard to know a friend past away in an accident with you in the car.
but yeah, this sucks too, but why would he risk a life for small amounts of drugs? it was just a headlight citation they were looking for.

Paranoia. Driver assumed he was getting rapped for the drugs I guess. Seatbelt or no seatbelt, that driver is very lucky to be alive dropping 50FT down in a sports coupe. There was a new member here who dropped 30ft and wore his seatbelt and came out with minor injuries 30 days into owning his first SC. Now combine that with not one dead CL member in an SC and it's not luck anymore, we're driving armored tanks.

The local news first reported the car as a LS400, but the area is known to have fools driving crazy, dealing drugs, etc. The accident isn't too far from the port of Oakland. Very tragic, the police didn't even chase them. It's crazy how some people have taken the sc300/400 and butchered them. I see all kinds of fools on 22-24in rims, lexus painted on the doors, windows, ugly rims, bad tires, dents, you name it.
