Red face high beam lamp as driving light question.

I know this can be done. I have seen other sc300 high beam lamp use as a driving light. So when you turn on your lights, the high beam lamp emits.

The GS300 two center lamp on the bumper uses as a driving light.

How do i convert my high beam lamp into driving lights? just like the GS300.
I couldn't find a specific section in the forum for this topic. Thanks.

i think what youre talking about is the daytime running light on the newer SC's. its not exactly the high beam staying on.

I've seen sc's have their high beams as daytime lights, imo, its still kinda strange w/o the lowbeams on.

This is why i have hid in my lowbeams and white 9005 LEDs for my highbeams (less bright so i can keep them on without blinding people). Although it sacrifices my highbeams that i rarely use. I've got the bulbs in the trunk, incase i need them.

yeah i was referring to the daytime running light.
i would want to sacrifice my high-beam so i could use it as daytime driving light.
does anyone know how to do it>??

you guys think i can tap it onto my "driving light", and not the low beam connector?? i don't think I want to put 9005 in the high beam because that would blind people. I was planning to use regular 1157 bulbs or whatever that isn't that bright

i am pretty sure that its a normal high beam with the power cut to it for DRL's. Like lower amperage @ 12v should give it a much lower dim lighting.

it can be done easily, all you need is relay(s) and a resistor.
