Default Lowering

Your SC looks great. I love the hi beams and I guess the lows are OK. Rear lens is fine.

I am not a fan of slamming. It might have its function and some may like the looks, but... Actually I like the looks myself but the rest of the problems make it a no go for me. To each his/her own though.

I wanted some better corner performance although she never was bad. I also wanted Bilstiens cause I have had soooo much good experience with that product. Bills don't make a shock that fits my SC 400. I was bummed. Then I read that a popular way to lower the SC was to install Toyota Supra TT Shocks and springs. I bought the Bills for the TT and also went with Tien "H" series springs. The TT swap lowers the car an inch and the "H" springs set it down another inch. And don't forget to cut back the rubber snubber. I feel like I have arrived at the opt solution....for me. Good ride and good looks and good cornering. AND I still have enuf clearance to fit over a parking lot bullard and the speed bumps are not scary. Best is it drives in and out of the driveway.

And I also went with Gazi's big brake special. That is awesome. Good guy that Gazi. He stands behind everything he sells and that is RARE in this day and age.

John

Well, I have been talking with my buddy Dana at Virtual Works and have since bought a 6sp adapter plate for the 1UZ to V160 swap. From there I am going to have Taylor racing engines build me a flat plane crank, high compression (14:1) 1UZ and then I'll have Dana install my secret turbo setup I invented. *insert evil laugh here with pinky at corner of mouth*

I plan on running on E85.

Be pretty fun when she's done.

Engine is running great now, aside from the MAF acting up. I'm going to fix that by converting to speed density.

Found fri that the downshift cable on the transmission frayed and that explains why it's not shifting correctly. Got a new one coming in wed.

By christmas she should be 100%.

Got the Daizen control arm, steering rack, sway bar bushings in, alignment is done, dropped the rear, and TRD LSD is in and working.

The stock ones work better (bigger projector, brighter better light output and beam pattern.) Not to mention they cannot accept regular 9005 bulbs. They use cheap H1 bulbs. I don't like the headlights... I love the highbeams though.

I prefer the stock ones. These will do for now.
