you drink alot. lol(dont we all...) do you think you could give me a measurement on that space between the h/u and the climate control? ive got the same project goin on n i wanna know how far down ive gotta trim the .5 din pocket. any help is appreciated thanks

^^^why not just get the double din metra dash kit? and you won't have a hole

Proper setups you wont miss the rear speakers, it really messes with the quality of the sounds.

I just ordered a Metra kit, so I will post that up when I am done.

just wasnt feelin the metra cause id have to drill out the mounting bracket to mount the h/u, when the factory mounting holes work perfect with the f700 n a .5 din, so why? easier to mount a .5 din, just wanted an exact measure so i could try n make it look as clean as possible where it meets the ashtray

Well only thing I didnt like about the stock mounting holes is that it sticks out about 3/8 of an inch. Im going to find out what I can do with the Metra real soon, should be here sometime...
