Yeah I wasn't sure to being with... The bag looks like it would... and after hours of searching (don't even ask the IS guys, they didn't have a clue!) I found an SC guy who had IS300 wheel with a single stage Celica airbag. So it is SUPPOSED to work, but I will find out!

The dingle berry I bought them from painted them black. Looked decent when I got them but the paint flaked off. It wasn't dye... just your run of the mill flat black spray paint. Also I didn't like my brackets, now thinking about it, I would of been better off using 93+ Supra seat rails and putting the RSX seats on it instead.

Small update. Spent all day smoothing out my trim bezel because I got rid of all the unnecessary junk. So I am allowing the primer to get nice and dry so I can paint it tomorrow. It will be Satin Black.

I'd give my work a 9/10. Could of done better leveling it out, but working outside in the cool weather makes the bondo and paint swell up real easy.

How did you manage to get rid of the volume ****? how did you separate it from the AC ****? They are one unit.

Lookin pretty good there Matt. Looks like your made it pretty flush and with no lines of where the old volume **** was. Can't wait to see it finished and in person. I'm curious as well how you plan to separate the temp/volume ***** since they are on the same one piece???

They seem to be 1 piece. I haven't even looked at it before, but Im sure with some good dremel action and some soldering I can get it to work.

I painted mine w/ sem Stain black as well, it looks very nice, but seems to get dusty easily.

The celica airbag will definitely fit, I know, because I have an IS steering wheel w/ celica air bags installed. I can't wait to see some new pictures from you Matt. I should probably post up some new pictures of my interior progress as well, I've been lazy. I recently started using SEM because I couldn't find any Folia-Tec product left. SEM is way cheaper, but I can say that it does not compare to Folia-Tec paint though. SEM is not bad , but it's not scratch proof like the Folia-Tec paint, and it takes forever to dry up properly. I have to use a heat gun to dry it out so that it's nice and shiny.

Thanks guys... I just found out I needed a special adapter harness for the airbag... And they dont come in until Jan 26th, yikes. Luckily I drive the car a total of about 500 miles per month now anyways...

Small teaser pic. Wheel is dusty, car is a mess... etc... but you get the point for now.

Also discovered this severed wire... I fixed it, but what is it for?
