Man that looks good. I just saw my friend's 97 and it follows the same color theme stock. All the window trims, upper dash, and center console surround were black from the factory.

Oh, and screw doing the rear speakers. I just have 5.25 in the front and a 10and it sounds just fine. I thought I was gonna miss the rear speakers but i didnt even notice.

That is by far the best job I've seen on the center console trim. Can you fill us in on how you painted that or what you painted it with?

One is a foam connector of death that makes a big *** mess... btw I have no idea what it does.

The other one is a junction box that is screwed under the dash.

MY car appears to be missing that. That explains why nothing works other than jump wires for my tach. Just to verify, it is not A/T car specific is it(the junction box im referring)?

Im dealing with a mess right now (previous owner decide strobes were a real good idea)

Oh, yeah great job on your work in and out of your car.

That seems to be a junction block that connects both sides of the body harness together.

Sure have... But I would need black floormats too. Its not in the budget at the moment.

I am bringing my carpet cleaner from home this week so I will be able to remove all the brown foam crap all over my car lol.

I also sold my Nakamichi stuff and bought a new amp and hopefully sub.

Also bought something else for the car that has nothing t do with the interior

If your holding off on the black carpet bcuz of the floor mats you could always get some cheap ones from the auto parts to hold you off until you can get the OEM ones. I had a set of all black mats from autoparts for 10 bucks front and rear and they lasted me a long time and always looked new.. But your prob a perfectionist and wont want to do that GL cars coming out great

Car looks great. Are you leaving the wood trim? Might look more 'cohesive' if it was black.
Just a thought. Really like that steering wheel!
Btw I think you should go 5 or 6 speed..
