Default PlastX for the Win

got sick of the dirty headlights so i decided to take 15seconds on each headlight and give it a good cleaning.

both headlights were just as yellow. you can compare the yellow-ness with the glass high-beam lights.

Before:

After: 15 seconds of cleaning

will look into cleaning it more maybe next year.

Try it with a buffer. It's like 10x better.

PlastX is great stuff and improves the looks of our cars dramatically. I took 1500 grit wet sandpaper to mine, few rounds with PlastX and then used a bunch of sealant to cover them. They look almost new and it's nice to know I can fight off the dingy yellow crap whenever I like now.

I bought a cheep autozone buffer attachment for my cordless screwdriver. Worked pretty well. My headlights were lightly tinted yellow and plastx made them almost perfectly clear.

Your post made me look at the bumper.

Its soo ironic how shanec cares about how his headlights look when his bumper isnt even painted.

Yeah I used to polish my headlights every few weeks, but I gave up because one of the headlights has condensation now. I really want to just buy new headlights and fogs, but the thought of redoing my retrofit makes me not want to.
