Today at 4:10pm on my way to work some idiot with an 06 ford explorer decided to make a right turn from the middle lane while I was on the right lane. Everybody driving regular speed. 45mph. And he decided to stop and try to turn thinking I was not there. His front passenger side bumper hits my driver rear quarterpanel and door and sends me sliding towards a curb along with a huge power line. I corrected the steering but I hit the curb and was able to dodge the pole and get back on the road. I never been in an accident before until this day. I am lucky to be alive and without a scratch. But my car is pretty messed up

He got a ticket for improper lane change and tomorrow I'll be bringing it to JM Lexus. I'm afraid the damage might be too much for the insurance.

From what I can see:
BigWin Lip
Driver side door
Driver side quarterpanel
front passenger side wheel cracked and pushed it
Both passenger side tires are done
Front passenger side fender damage
Front bumper might be pushed in
The rest is unknown

Yeah he said it was my fault but he must be crazy. I kept my cool though. I was so pissed. But I'm glad I was able to get away from the pole.

I know. He's an idiot, I heard him tell the cop he was on the right lane and then she asked him where I was and he didnt know lol. I'm a driver who knows where everybody is. I look at all the cars around me. But I didn't think he would actually turn into me. Because I wasn't the only car on the road. It was alot of cars. And it was during the day. I even drive with my lights on all the time. There is absolutely no way he can say it's my fault. He just panicked I guess.

They gave him the ticket for improper lane change so he's at fault. I got all his info. It was his work vehicle and he has progressive express insurance.

He said he had his turn signal on. I did see it on but it was too late. He was about to miss his turn and he thought everybody behind him can stop on the dime. He tried a last minute turn from the middle lane and didn't see I was next to him.

I was on the lane next to the 7eleven and he was on the lane to my left and he was trying to turn right on SW 15th ave.

If you turn it around you can see the poles I almost went straight into the poles on the corner of the marathon gas station. I did hit the curb though.

aw dude sorry to see that man, i woulda stayed in the car and complained about whiplash to the cops. but then again i would be pissed and try to beat the shi* out of the other driver. hope everything works out for you man.
