I would get it. Finding a nice 98-2000 SC400 is ludicrously difficult. I paid $8K for mine, 89,000 miles but it took 2 months!

I test drove it today..a couple of things to take care of right away....1) brakes are not in the best condition 2) NEEDS better tires, has cheapo dunno what brand tires on them right now 3) there is too much wind noise coming from the moon roof. 4) the factory CD changer is missing as well as the power antenna not working at all!....5) the leather on the drivers bolster is kinda worn out and will start to rip pretty soon.....6) most important, the car has had too much buffing cause the paint on the hood is worn off or burned off and has started to rust.....but if you don't mind that then i guess it okay, not the cleanest I have seen...but okay. also, it has two quarter size dents ...one on each side of the rear panels....

ive got a rsp sc300 with black interior for 7800 same mileage. sounds like its priced right to me

If you found that much on just a short test ride theres more. Sounds like a $ 5k car to me. Look for a leaking Power steering unit, and worn, Control arms. Plus engine, tranny mounts and other things. If you get it at the right price you can put it back together.
