If you keep it you are going to put some money into it, maybe more then if you were to just wait it out. Unless you are going change out the interior that wouldn't be an issue for you.

Thanks for all your opinions. Thanks for all the links Scott.

Well I guess it depends on your goals. If you think you can take someone else's work already done cheaper than you can do it, then obviously wait and save the hassle of the swap. Then you get into the problem.... how well did they do it? How hard has it been beaten and are the turbo and tranny or block past the halfway point in their life? Are you only getting someone elses problem? If buying a fairly stock NA, is the rear end about to fall out of it? Has the 3rd gear in the car ever threatened to fall-the-hell-out of the tranny? ()

For those reasons I like to build things myself so I know what I have and I'm not tooling along all happy 3 weeks later with my new car and shoot the turbine through the housing.

I would build it myself bro. I'm not a fan of built cars for the same reason's. I would get a 300 that was originaly manual, no swaps unless I did the swap myself. The turbo would be bought and installed by me and my friends at Top Speed or Fizz. Believe me, I've seen my fair share of "built car" horror stories.

Unless it was a well known shop with a good reputation, like Sound Performance!

Me personally, I'd wait...I'm with the others on this one. It would be too much money to fix the SC4, and time consuming even if you did it yourself. From just seeing pics...exterior shot, interior shot-no telling what's truly wrong with the engine, suspension, etc. Even if you bought the car for 1800-you'll spend that and some in suspension alone. Throw in interior, lighting, wheels, etc and you've bought you a SC3-which is what you really want? Even when that's all said and done, you want be happy because a 5spd SC3 was your intended goal. Now you're stuck with a SC4, and un happy! But this is just my two cents.
