Oh man no wonder, my car has issues handling the road. My tires always spin out on turns if i play the gas past 30%, and even off a dead stop . Not that im complaining but its a shock that they would make that an option on this car. I have Michelin PILOT's on the rears. Maybe its the combination of cold weather and high performance tires or.... maybe the 99 VVTI engine is that much quicker then a 93 SC engine. Any thoughts?

I owned a 1993 SC400 , and then i put my hands on a 1998 SC400. And it seems so much quicker at higher band rpm's

I cant imagine why this car would have TRAC control as an option ? So if I dont have that option Im assuming i dont have vehicle stability ?

I do feel the 99 SC400 engine with the 5 speed auto is much quicker of the line then the pre 98's . I mean stock for stock . But the biggest difference i saw was after the 3500-5500 rpm range, the 98-99 pulls much harder in the higher band rpm's whereas the pre 98's rev higher at lower rps under 4000rpm.

Anyone else notice that?
