Hello again people,I have a problem with my 95 sc400 speedo. When accelerating it`s slow to move, then if I`m doing lets say 50mph it only sets at 30mph.Any troubleshooting on this to find out what it could be? Thanks Lou

- Speedometer motor.
- Contact screws on back of speedo motor.
- Faulty speedometer sensor on tranny.

A site search would have revealed this and more info. Good luck.

I was told that the incorrect tire size will also throw off the reading of the speedometer.

Uhmmm obviously.

This is not your problem in your case.. If your speedo isn't going up quickly whatsoever that its what the above stated..

Thats true but its not a dramatic difference or should I say a noticeable one. That is unless you are planning on riding dirty on 22s.

the speed sensor on the side of my transmission died/ went crazy while i was on the highway 55....30....50..30 then sometimes it would try to work.... replace the speed sensor on the side of your transmission.
