can you provide more details? My heat recently went out and it was my control valve. Try checking connections and associated equipment, If your familiar with using a multimeter and have one try shooting your wires to ensure they are in good working order.
It won't display it, or it won't get hot? It sounds like you are seeing MAX HOT so I am guessing it is reading it. Search heater control valve, and make sure your coolant is topped off.
sorry i was not enough to explain.. i tried to make heater to HOT and nothing and it wont get hot while display MAX HOT. that cause heater control valve?
i didn't use it much. i always keep use MAX COLD. sometime when winter time and i turn to heater and it wont work. i haven't find it yet. I'm local Socal too! NICE YOUR SC LMAOMAO.
your heater core might just be blocked. that happens to me too. but what i do, whenever it doesnt want to heat up. i just give the car full throttle and it knocks the blockage loose.
