LOL ! It aint gonna last 15 years. The original leather seats new dyed can not last 15 years. Maybe if you stored the car and did'nt sit in the seats anymore.
Great Thread !
i agree if it last a year or a couple i'd be happy after all the SC has 208k on it and the GS has 231k they wont be around forever but as good as these cars are who knows.
Beware that the Factory interior color which I think was called Ivory, has darken a few shades as it ages. You may want to go a shade lighter if you want the original color.
This is a great thread. It's true and tried. I always looked for a high-end product but didn't get any luck until I checked out this thread. I bought the repair kit from PepBoys for $10 and did it, but it only lasted about 6 months for daily driving. The PepBoys kit is just a simple kit, so I think this high end will work 10 times better because it costs 10 times more. I'll use this Leatherique for sure because I need to fix my steering wheel so bad.
That looks great! I think the correct color would have been Beige or Taupe but it looks good with Ivory. My sc300's interior and exterior is the same as yours.
resurected threat ehh. but valid point how is it a year later? That is alot of work though, probably more cost and time effiecent to just by new leather?
