Default Looking at a 95 SC300

Hey, i've just come across a 95 SC300 auto black/black with 174k for sale in Milwaukee (1.5 hours from me) and had a few questions. It has gold wire wheels, like BBS or something. Were those an expensive option, or the standard wheels? Because I haven't seen those before, or not often. I plan to email or talk soon to the owner(dealer I think) about previous owners, but at 174k, what should I be looking for on a SC? I've owned a 95 ES and it had 250k on it when i sold it for what I paid for it, and it was an amazing car and thats why i'm trying to get rid of my 5 series. I found a 2000 ES but its just a couple thousand out of my price range and this SC is only priced at 2995 but im wondering if it will cost more in the long run. Thanks for your help!

When you say wire and BBS in same sentence they kinda contradict each other. Are you referring to gold mesh wheels? If so yes they were an option not sure the cost but they werent too common. I believe there are a few members here that have them I think they can add some information. Personally I think the gold makes them a bit dated but on the right vehicle they can look nice. Now I have seen some aftermarkets with same stylin that are hawt but I'm not fond of the Lexus stockers.

Okay I get it. I didn't mean WIRE. Im not sure what a mesh wheel is but, it seems like you understand what im talking about anyways. I just wanted to know if the car was rare.
