can anyone with their gauge cluster removed for an sc300 let me know what the resistor looks like for r109? or can someone sake a detailed pic for me.
i found a youtube vid and saw it had 3 orange bands and the last one i couldnt tell if it was gold or silver. and i couldnt really tell if the bands were orange or red.

im sure you have a ton of clusters OLT from an sc300 you can help me out with.... please

when i was doing my swap the person that did it cut the resistor out then jumped it... my tach is now off by 2000rpms if not more as i rev higher.
radio shack has a ton of resistors but i need to know the specs or the color bands and size

i need this fixed so i know for sure this is why my tach is off... so i can send it to OLT to get the needles fixed. but if it doesnt fix it i need to do some custom cluster or something...

hopefully someone can help me out so i can jump on this backlight needle deal olt has going on

 

I'm pretty sure my spare clusters are from a 400. Problem is I have no way to know without building it up and testing it.

I do know that there is a thread that shows the resistor. It was a thread on DIY resistor jumping for people who did the 1jz swap. The picture with specs do exist here.

 

yeah i found the thread a while back on here and i tried searching again for them... i found one that was like 8 pages long that talked about it but didnt show it.

i need a pic or the color bands that designates the specs on the resistor so i can get the right one... i went into radio shack today and they had hundreds of them.. i just walked back out
