depends on what you currently have. If i crash my white on tan 96 sc400, I would try to get a 98-00 Black on Black or Red on Black SC400.
But lets say I currently have the car I really wanted (color combo/body/mods/features) and then crash it. I would go for something else. Like maybe an IS300, a BMW 3-series coupe, g35, 350z, a 3000GT vr-4, or a supra.
Hopefully I don't crash my car tho *knocks on wood*

yeah, after selling my first SC and thinking long and hard about other cars, i realized there is nothing else i'd rather be driving...
If mine was a total loss i'd have to get another black interior 5spd, or a black interior 99-00 SC400

IF such a thing happened, i'd want a black on black 95+ Toyota Soarer TT with Active Suspension....preferrably converted to LHD....lol

Well I recently totalled my 97 sc300 last month. I had plenty of suspension work. I was planning on swapping in a 1JZ and converting it to 5spd.
So instead of going back to a 240sx, I starting over and I bought a 93 with full 97+ body conversion and full soarer conversion. 1JZ, 5spd, and rhd. Now I can start over on the suspension and go full coilovers instead of strut/spring combo. I will be ordering Stance coilovers.

I still have a Soarer at this point and getting a bit sick of modifying it as i know the resale value on it in a few years time will be nothing. So to stop mucking around transferring custom made parts later down the track im looking for a black on black vvti !JZ as late as possibly i can get and will as little km's as possible. Then once i do that up ill be finally content to not modify it and enjoy it for atleast 5 years. Eitherway i know ill have a Soarer in my gargage when im 50 years old to show the kids and this marvel at the quality machine it is.
