$350 Paint Job From MAACO: Results are IN!

get a nice coat of wax on it and invest in a car cover, the more you can keep the car away from the elements the longer it will last, with MAACO is hit and miss, you basically got a guy doing it that was been carefull and taking his time...i have seen some where they dont tape anything other than windows and lights, and i can see they respected the black lip and other trims.
Nice job, remember 80% of a paint job's quality is labor not the product use.

Did they mix your paint from a paint code, or did they color match off of what was already on your car? I'm thinking about getting my SC sprayed at maaco, and would like it to be as close to the factory color as possible..

i have no idea. All i asked was for a quote and they said 350. i said ok how long does this take he says 3 days. i said ok i want it factory color painted he said ok. thats all. The car also has glitter in the paint! i bairley could see it with my original paint but now in the sun its like wow!

Looks pretty decent for $350..The bumper and the hood looks great from the pictures...The only flaw i see is that they didn't wet-sand the car after they sprayed it, you could tell on the driverside door..
You get what you paid for especially with labor..I would be a bit skeptical for paying someone to spray entire car for only $350...Clearcoat is expensive, so I wouldn't be surprised if the bumper doesn't hold up too well to rock chips..Regardless, looks like you are happy with the results. Congrats on the new paint..!

also im getting clearcoat from someone and he is giving me enough for just the bumper. should i apply the clear coat on the bumper? would this make the the bumper more shinney then the rest of the car?
