Default I need some help deciding!!!

I am really in a predicament right now. A friend of mine/ fellow CL member is selling his IS350 wheels for $400 with tires. (Eric this is why I have to wait till tomorrow)....I would glady pay out the $400 but it would be quite a while before I could put them on. The reason of course is the drop which with a good bargain would still cost around $500. I am a POOR/JOBLESS student right now!!! I have a deal with my dad that if I buy rims he'll get tires. Ok, so im starting to think about IS300 wheels. They are 17's and look great too on the SC. My question is would I need a drop badly if I put on IS300 wheels or should I buy the IS350 wheels and wait till I get a job/money to get them on with a drop? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

why dont you just save your money and get better rims. i mean say u saved up $400 and wait 3-4 months you should have about 1k by then and get yourself some good looking rims. Remember to always think about the long run too.

IS300 wheels are 17x7. I don't have IS300 wheels but mine are the same 17x7 size. They are very sunken in. Consider the 5-spoke GS400 wheels. Similar, if not the same, design but an inch wider.

get your bud to hold the rims for you....in the mean time you secure a job and start making some $$$. No worky = no mods!
