That famous "satin black" GTR is one of them that used a vinyl.

This is an audi w/ a "carbon" design.
They have some cool designs, but the flat black is the most prevalent.

I saw this on a debadged IS 350 at the car show my fraternity hosts yearly...best looking car there IMO. It wont in the Asian class.
Flat black vinyl is the best looking flat black IMO, and I'm going to guess it preserves the paint underneath it. Other than price,it seems like a win win situation
