I dont know, 07+ Maxima projectors are much more readily available to me, but i dont know if i want that kind of trouble so i might just stick with the stock projector tube.

OOOOOOHH!!!! I like that idea. I wonder how this would work once you delete the lining? Definitely keep us posted.............what are you using to take out the lines? Seems very time consuming!!

I actually got the idea of delining from other guys on here. You do it because the lines refract the light passing through the lense, scattering it all over the place, a big no no for oncoming traffic with HID's.

LoL im using 250 grit so i dont cut too hard and deep, which would make it nearly impossible to get all the scratches out. So yep, LONG and TEDIOUS process, but it will be worth it!

but then again, there's always that satisfying feeling of doing something the right way rather than half assing it.

Yeah, i know it would damn well be worth it, but its coming across the materials (the projector tubes) and then making them fit and still be adjustable. I'll have to see, im looking now. Thanks for the link though

This is going to be my parking light bulbs to go into the healights, thinking about leaving my silverstar incandescent turn bulbs, and i am still researching HID kits.

Time for some more pics guys, i got some more goodies in:

Next weapons of choice:

CRL butyl to reseal healights (black):

Krylon UV resistant clearcoat to finalize lense protection:

Bought two of these kits just for that little bottle to the right, its a polymer to fill super fine scratches and return the lense to crystal clear:

Finally finished sanding the lenses to perfection:

Taped and ready to paint the edges black ( i have a thing for attention to detail ):

As always guys, more pics as i progress, still waiting on my LED running light bulbs, and HID kit.
