Default Metra Dash Kit installed! Single DIN

for anyone who wants to know how this looks and are afraid to jump the gun..it works..and its soo easy to install and the instructions were very clear..and it looks great!

Sorry for bad pics..phones camera + bad lighting

and i know my heaters screwed up and my cup holder is upside down..almost more useful that way!

there is no gap between the pocket and the ash tray..no more wires poking through

and yeah i did..it was pretty simple
we covered the back side of the hole with a circular piece of wood and started to bondo over it, pulled the wood off, trimmed down the controls and then painted, sanded, painted, bondo, sand, paint again

does the ashtray cover open smoothly? I read that some people are having problems opening the ashtray but that was for the Double DIN dash kit. Please let us know if there is that problem. Thanks!

defiantly one of the cleanest for single din, but for me, double din FTW

Sorry but I don't like the look of single DIN players in the SC, even with the new dash kit. I'd much rather see double DIN or just stock.

its understandable..i was hoping to do double..but money got tighter and tighter and i had no music..so this is how it's going to be until i get my other mods done..but hey it looks a heck of a lot better than it did..

oh and to answer another posts question the ashtray lid flips open just as it would with the stock deck in

DD's are more expensive, but a cheap alternative to a nice DD is one of the cheaper tv DD's that sell for around $250. They look like the Eclipse AVN style DD's.
