i like the shape of the mk3 and with a properly done kit/wheels/suspension it can look killer. the 7m is poopoo compared to the jz, not that it can't make power but they don't like to stay together for long. the big one for me is the interior, its ugly and its stuck in the 80's the interior of the sc or mkiv supra is 1000 times better.

Cheapest solution would prolly be to keep the good condition MKIII you've grown so fond of and to ditch the 7m in favor of a 1jz. You'll get the reliability you want and power to boot. If you go with the SC, 5spd or not, you'll want more power. Guess you could always swap or turbo the SC as well, but unless you have cash to burn, dont buy a really beat on or wrecked SC.

yeah ive really been leaning torwd keeping the mkiii buying the wrecked sc driveing it as a daily thru the summer anen this winter takeing out the 2jzge and putting it into the mkiii and running the xs power kit. theres a guy on the surpa forum that did that swap useing the mkiii electronics and i have a friend who is willing to do the wireing id rather do this than a 1j im just not a fan of them and id rather have somethin a little more unique
