97 sc300, what would you pay?
I bought a 97 sc300 in diamond white pearl for $8400. It only has 59,876 miles and has never been in an accident! I think i can sell it for like $9500 may be 10,000? and make a little money? The inside is in a good condition and the engine runs great! Let me hear your opinion, thanks.

That's pretty interesting. I paid 8500 with tax tags and everything almost 2 years ago and it had 127,000 miles on it with no problems whatsoever. Same color and all. Not sure how you will make any money in this economy but you can try. Would have to be someone who really wanted a 97 + with low miles.

Nothing wrong with the RSX-S. It's a different car. Luxury cars aren't automatically better even if it has speed. If I could, I'd own both cars for different purposes. I would never use an SC on an autocross, and I would never take the RSX-S on a road trip with 3 other buddies. An RSX-S is a great alternative.

the RSX Type S HAS THE WORST TRANSMISSION EVER!!!!!
the syncro's are weak, 3rd gear loves to pop out... there was a recall not everyone was lucky enough.
also your rsx type s will get stolen and the motor will end up in a civic.
put a turbo kit on the sc if its not sporty enough and call it a day.

Did ya think that maybe the person that sold it thought the same thing and realized the market sucks and sold it for whatever he could to get some cash?
Hope you didnt buy it to flip it...you missed that market by like 2 years!

my roommate just picked up a 97 RSP black interior sc300 (about 56 ever made) and he got it for less then 8k so if you think your gonna sell a stock dwp tan automatic SC for 10k go for it!
if it was a black interior 5spd 97 you might have more luck but even then i doubt it.

You can sell it for $9500 but not now...all cars are a steal now because everyone is holding on to their cash. You found the right place to sell it though, only enthusiasts would pay what you want for it right now. But you disclosed how much you paid for it already...wrong move.
