The problem is you guys live in ****-Cali. I look at the pros and cons of both options.
Air Ride:
Pros:
-'ish is sick and would make the car great and more user friendly.
-2-3K will get you up and running. No pun intended.
Cons:
-Already slammed and tucked as it is. What's the point?
GTE Swap:
Pros:
-"2JZ, no ****!"
-1Uz is on it's way out the door.
-Good usable power with the proper setup.
-Car would be the ish with some ***** behind it. (sug. GTE swap powdercoat everything black in the engine bay. Just a suggestion.)
Cons:
-Can become fairly pricey by nickel and dimein' you on little small things.
-Cali frowns upon engine swaps.
-Hard to find USDM 2JZ-GTE
-Factory auto does not like power
As you can see it really comes down to pros, cons, and reliability. Personally I would go with the swap. Looks aren't everything.
