Making an early SC Audible Beep when Locking

i plan to do this if i have time to..
i actually dont know if my car has an alarm, and i need to test it out some day.
seriously though, when i part at school, i cant tell if it gets locked, so i stand next to the door and look at the window to see if the little extra plastic on the lock switch moves.

Your welcome brother, good luck with it! And as far as i know, all SCs have alarms.

MY 92 sc400 with a car phone setup has a beep when i lock the doors. Personally it annonys me but underneath the steering wheel are a lot of wires and some of these wires are tapped into with quick splices. Then they all run together into what looks like a motex shape plastic box. I'm not sure but i think those weird wires might be why my car beeps.
On my 300 w/o the beep, i can hear the little clicking noise when you lock the doors.

6 years of evolution and design and your cluster is the first one with the 6000's (by the way). I think I'd change the alarm siren to a single tone beep from radio shack (door chime would be awesome). Heh, I'd love to lock my door and it go *ding.... dong*

Find someone who has that door lock chime and put one on OLT!
and the 6000's do they come in the 16 or the 32 ?

Well, one that works. I just havent heard it or anything. My brother had a Volvo that didnt have the horns to make the noise..
Ooh. Yeah i can hear the little clicking noise too, but sometimes im thinking about something and i press the button or i think i accidently press it twice, or it just doesnt work, thats why i had asked how he did it.
