Default Fuel gauge sensor wiring

I have a 93 sc300 that was converted to right hand drive. The gauge cluster is from a soarer as well so it's all digital. My fuel gauge never worked. It will flash a few times when I first start it and then go to empty. It always reads empty and I get a message in japanese for it on the bottom of the gauge cluster. When I press the fuel button next to the trip and rest button it displays fuel empty also.

I took a look at the tank and realized that there is 1 wire that was cut. I'm guessing since the conversion was done, they didn't wire the quantity sensor. It's a black single wire. It was pretty long and it reached on the left side of the car under the back seat. The other plugs were connected. So I think the wire should go somewhere on the right side since it was converted.

Does anybody know where the wire is supposed to go to? I hate to guess how much fuel is in the tank by checking the trip odometer all the time.
Thanks in advance.

Here's a pic if that helps.

do you have the soarer fuel sender? coz i think you might still have the sc sender which i think is the ordinary type sender in most cars (float type). the soarer has this to calculate the exact fuel left:

it looks quite different from the top:

No I don't have that one. I have the SC float type. Is there anyway I can wire the float type to work? Or can I get an aftermarket gauge?

aftermarket guage, i think you can hook that up, but get your float type to work with the digital guage, i don't think so, i think it has more wires...
