A 2000 conversion, some custom paint, lot's of pretty lights, a set of wheels, some ice, and 75,000 miles added to the black SC400 that started it all.
This month is my anniversary on CL. I turned 6 years old in CL years a couple days ago. It's been my home page since day one.
I've only missed ONE DAY in 6 years I haven't logged on.
I still have my SC after all this time. I still love driving it just as much as I did the day I bought it and drove off the lot all giddy like. I remember trading in my 1995 4wd black Ykon with the police pushbar on front (it was bad for sure... didn't wanna get in it's way). Drove off with the SC. The PS pump was bad and killed the alt on the way home.
First experience wasn't the best.
After replacing the PS pump and alt, and charging the A/C it's been smooth sailing since.
This car is timeless, it never gets old as long as you keep busy with it. There is not much that can replace it, and if you do you always KEEP the car....... you'll just want it back later if you don't.
Here's to you guys, thanks for hanging with me for over half a decade.![Thumb Up](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)

The black paint on that car is VERY GOOD. Either its been repainted or you live in a place were its overcast 24/7. Black paint fades very easily on cars which is why i like white a lot more.
I would personally get 97+ tails and remove the lip spoiler. I like the clean body lines of the no spoiler sc. (or maybe put on a 97+ spoiler.) I know a junkyard that has the black oem sc400 97 spoiler. Personally even tho the 95-96 tails are an improvement from the 92-94s, they still have this old school segmentation to them. The 97+s do a much better job os hiding that old school-ness. With 95-96s, you car looks late 90s, with the 97+s your car looks early to mid 00s.
Also where are the shots of all the lighting mods?
