Is that time of the year again - TX2K9 - Time to kick Supra's ***!!
As many of you may know, TX2K9 or the Supra Nationals is coming up in 3 weeks. Last year I red lit during the semifinal rounds after being the #1 qualifier in a full class with a 9.8 @ 145mph, this year I'm comming with a vengance!
This year despite the rough economic times, I'm going to do race again!! I haven't had a chance to race the car much this year due to personal reasons and lack of time, but I have made a comittment to represent the lexus community once more!
The car is the same setup as last year, with only very few changes. Last year I had the stock JDM long block...this year I'm running 268 cams. Last year I was running on C16 with 1000cc injectors. This year I have switched to 1200s and Q16. Also, I removed the A/C out of the car since it is never used and it will never be missed, that and few other small things have dropped total race weight 200lbs.
I am also doing a few cosmetic/functional changes. Here is a few pictures of the progress, I hope I can update it as often as time permits and I really hope I can get full days of racing to put on a good show! If you come be sure to stop by my tent and say hello!!!

Hey Mario, hope all goes well this year my friend! Your car sounds like it'll be quicker and faster than ever! Unfortunately I won't be in attendance this year, but I'll definitely be at SILV 09 and at TX2K10.
Oh, and I hope you have more luck with the night outings than we did last year!

thanks for the kind words fellas...My goal is 9.35 
we'll see i'm in a class with people that have gone 9.1s so its a matter of staying focused and consistent thru out the day hopefully the stock motor holds up
