question on painting pillers and chrome outline

for people who would know or heard...whats good type of paint to paint the pillers and the chrome outlineing on the windows? im planing on painting it black and wondering whats a good paint to use?

not sure if paint is a good idea, but some have used chrome black-out tape that you can get from auto zone. I think there's a thread on here about that
