Default newbie's got a question

hey guys im curently sem dying my interior and i wanted to know, does anyone how to remove the wood grain right over the center console,its kicking my glutes. please help!!!

Looks like one screw in the glovebox, and then a gentle pull.

no i dont have a service manual yet,by the drawing it seems like the screw is located in or near the vent by the glove box opener if thats the case i cant see the screw.its frustrating!!!!

There are a bunch of screws (2 or 3) the kick panel needs to come off and the blovebox as well and wing nuts (3 at least on the non airbag models) to remove are up inside the dash behind the panel. Do a search and your homework in the forum. This was covered in depth for those of us changing out our cracked center vents. There is also a clip holding the piece to the left of the vents. No doing this right will be an expensive mistake to replace that wood.

havent removed that part yet but run a search, you can probably find it there...
I see that you are a newb, so i will save you the flame from someone else and use the search function......!!!

You have to remove the dash, location of the screws that hold it in place make it really difficult to do with the dash in the car.

This is a duplicate post the mods will delete one I bet.

You dont need to remove the dash thats WAY more work than needed. I did mine without. Id check ur cabin air filters while u got all that apart too.
