Zach. I love your build!! You have many, many geat mods going into your beast. I gotta say though, even though I love CF, I am not feeling those mirrors. I know a lot of guys like them, but I personally think they are too small for the SC, and do not compliment the overall shape and lines of the car. But this is just my opinion. I would also think you do not get a very wide field of vision with them.

Whelp they are being cut up right now! Going alittle slower than expected on all projects... (Oy.) Slight change of plans though- After close inspection, decided to make the bases from the factory bases instead of the Bomex mirrors.* One more thing to sell in a bit.. Anyone interested? pm

Those diffusers aren't originally made for the SC btw, I think they're from Top Secret, or RE-Amemiya... (Just a guess.) This project should have some finished pics up within 2 weeks, but hopefully one week.

I think the opposite- Things that are less obtrusive bring out the Soarer/SC's original design character 'spirit' more.. Mirrors, liscense plates, and crash-bar sizes (which affect front and rear bumper designs) are just after-thoughts and things forced upon a designer for safety... I think it will blend in very well, and accentuate the shapes of the car nicely. But thats just my opinion.

UPDATE!: Mirrors are mounted, carbon covers that go over the base plates are being molded/fabricated still..
(The bolts and outer bases/bracketry that you can see in the pics will be covered)

I'm going for more of a race/time-attack Toyota style for the build, instead of luxury Lexus obviously*
I'll post up finished pics asap- Should be about one more week. 88% Complete!

*Thanks guys.
I'm thinking about cutting the stalks down some at the bottom so the mirrors sit lower and closer to the doors;
Haven't decided if it's feasible, or necissary... The shape of the SC door/nose is farther stretched out than some and it might look better that way.. Lots of options- Will see

It's official! Gonna be cutting the mirror stalks down some so it's closer to the door and lower like so:

Default Covering the bases [clever?] lol

Mirror bases are almost completely formed- Carbon will be wrapped on the exterior of the bases when all is done.
MopTopPros found a perfect sized gasket to fit around the adjuster hole [picture 1] Looks like everything is on track so far, I can't wait to bolt them up and go. [Last pic is a sized up Photochop of how it looks installed as of now, un-wrapped]:
*Stalks still need to be cut down at this point.
