Default 1993 Toyota Soarer 1JZ-GTE .. now what?

I posted this on another forum, but more input is better.. I'll start with the intro..

I'm 19, I drive a 1993 Toyota Soarer imported from Japan and I live in Canada, Quebec.. Winter's almost over.. so the -20ēC will soon become +30ēC.. Can't wait..

That's as much of an intro I can give, so I want to have some input.. I will be driving this car daily.. it's currently stock, but I have plans for it this summer. Mostly esthetics because my budget currently only allows for that much, so I'll be placing an order soon for for Velocity Bodykit (made from V-Fiber, quite impressive how you can smash fiberglass without it breaking). I already have the 97-00 fog lights, and grill. I also have a set of 95-96 JDM Tailights. Will be painting it the new IS250 Pearl White because the body's a little bit roughed up. I'll be needing a brand new set of tires. (Falken FK-452) The mags I'll keep for this season, I'm rolling on 17" Weds Farmas mags. 235/45/17 in the front and 255/40/17 in the rear.

For the mecanics of the car, it currently needs a tune-up pretty badly. It's been sitting in the cold for the last 4 months because I had no place to store it. I already have brand new NGK Iridium IX spark plugs for the 1JZ, but will be needing a GASKET KIT if anyone can help me . It's leaking a little bit.. I'll have to flush all the fluids, radiator, brakes, transmission, oil. Am I missing anything? Ohh.. also needs a new radiator cap.

I found a TRD (replica) radiator cap on ebay for a descent price. Looks better than the stock one, and it's 0.9 bar aswell. The other TRD have 1.3 bar and I don't think I'll be needing that. Perhaps someone has bought the 0.9 bar replica before? It should be fine.. right?

To get to the main point, I want to be pushing relatively good power after 3,000 rpm. I want to keep the good response that it has now because of the stock turbos, but is there an alternative? I'm hoping to push around 400-450hp respectively.. So after all this blah blah blahh.. perhaps some of you can help me shed some light on the situation. I'm not a mecanic, and don't have very much mecanical knowledge, but I'm always down for learning because dayyumm.. I love my car..

The Weds are damaged from shipping.. should I repair? ...

On a bit of a budget, and roads here in Quebec are by far the worst in North America.. so 17" will have to do for this season.

Update:

Just ordered Maltech stainless steel brake lines
6000k HID Kit
Trunk struts to replace the ones that are currently shot..
Also have some glass high beams on their way..

nice soarer, let's see a side view of the whole car if you have one, i'd sell the wheels and get different ones but they look good on the car so either way is fine, 18s or 19s would look nice, though, not an expert on performance but don't you upgrade to better aftermarket parts, i'd find the upgrades that give the most hp/tq results

Heyy, yeah I've already checked out your thread. I'm already looking around for a FMIC, but don't know which one would be ideal yet.. thanks for the post.

Update: Just purchased a Pioneer Double Din 6.1"

Greddy have a nice FMIC for the soarer that I purchased, perfect fit. About $800.00 with everything. Nice pick up, good luck with everything.

I'd advise checking out this [url=http://store.driftmotion.com/static/c-toyotaoemparts.php]site[/ur].

DM has great parts for the 1JZGTE, both OEM and aftermarket.
