Default bit more progress

well went over to some more on the car today, since there was wires all over the place i thought id pull the majority of the dash out to get a good look, well a bit more came out than i was intending to lol......

then discided as there was a few wires here and there that i couldnt find a home from the alarm so i pulled it out and put all the standard wires back....

then while i have the dash out, i though id drill the holes for the master cylinder...

here is the manual parts

well tomorrow im going over to take all the parts out of the other car... happy days:thumbs:

well ive been doing a few bits the car is now running sweet just got to do an oil change as the oil looked like it came from a deisel lol

took out the wood trim and sanded it down ready for some paint of covering not sure which yet,

it was close as the gauges was 60mm and the pannel was 65mm

so i fitted them quick and hooked them up to a battery

little update,

got all the main parts to finish off the convertion,

brake pedal and clutch pedal and brakets (found out mkiii supra are exactly the same).

also been looking at products to sort out my headlights, needed cleaning, so i took them to my mate who runs a bodyshop 1hr later and £50 later here they are

before

after

also found a great site if its allready know knowlege then hay , but my toyota parts man told me it. toyo diy . com, click on parts and enter your chassis number and you will get all your part info.

plus i had to fix some problems with the dash,

i had 3 dash's

the origonal with the blinky fault
one good one
one with no rev counter

so i used the parts from the one with the dead rev counter to fix the blinky one,

and while i was there i covered up the lcd that indicates the auto gear positon, and pulled a couple of bulbs out,

air bag and cat light
and pulled out the reverse beeper....

so this weekend im gonna crack on and get it done
