I already have 3/8th sitting around, so I'm thinking of using that, if you have 1/2" then I'll get the same
hopefully this will be for the last time (or at last for a few years)
thanks for post up the mod
Dont quote me bro, but i believe it was 3/8, the only thing is that all of the nipples arent the same size, you will need different size hoses/adapters depending on how you want to set it up. Best thing to do is to bring the lamps with you to fit the hoses. Because of my work environment, i have all the different size hoses i could need to do the retro, so i didnt make any serious note of their sizes. Sorry brother.

What a great idea.
Simple, yet......

bookmarked.!

Here in Texas.....everybody's lights start to fog up and get condensation.
Should be a lot easier to keep up with the filter this way (as opposed to removing the headlight).

Helloooooo Lazarus! Great idea though. Even OLT concurred at one point...well with the logic behind the diy anyway.

This breather mod has been working for almost 4 years now. Even though i no longer own the car the mod was done to and havent been able to maintain filter lube, everytime i see the car the headlights are clear.

That's great to hear.

Can you please re-upload your pictures? None of them are showing up.

I can only see the pictures in the middle of the thread that the other gentleman posted with the APC filter.

I'm curious about doing this to my driver side headlight. It's been condensating after you wash the car. But, I am worried that adding that apc breather filter will also take in water after a wash.

Don't drill anything! There's already two male connectors coming out of your housing. remove the 2 hoses already there and attach your vacuum line to them
