Forget the text, I tried everything to try to keep it and nothing really works. I even had vinyl text to replace it, but it just looks tacky. After I painted over them, and made it completely black, I was perfectly fine w/ the result. It actually looks pretty cool imo.
Anyways, looks like what I did when I first started modding my SC, I hated the tan too. I used foliatec instead of SEM though, Folia-tec is much better than SEM but so much harder to come by.

I just saw your old thread on your foliatec interior. What did you do about your carpet?

its been awhile since i posted any updates. well i cleaned out all the gunk and mold crap from under all the interior pieces. i was surprized by all the nastiness so i didnt take any pics of it lol...
got all the dash pieces painted and reinstalled and i had to paint the carpet becuz the dye didnt workout so well cuz it came out a lil purple. all in all i spent a lil over $225 but thats becuz i wasted money buying the dye, 2 pints of sem sure-coat becuz i first used a non gravity feed gun and it wasted alot of paint, and the sem aerosol cans if i would have to do it over i would of just bought the quart from the start.

what you're going to need is the "color coat" for the dash and plastic pieices and some adhesion promoter for the plastic and "sure coat" is for the leather.

"dont you have tinted windows? either way leather gets really hot no matter what color it is and when you have a light interior you can see alot of imperfection and stains."
Not yet. I just got the SC on the road this week. I have to get 3 cars tinted before the summer hits. I also have an RX with Grey leather and I have no real stains in it. I would give up the leather in the SC for cloth, that just isn't a real option.
