OMG WTF FML LOL...that is amazing. we have finally, after all these years, discovered the long lost third model of the SC. the SC500. im going to japan tomorrow to pick one up along with my R34 skyline

huhmmmmm i guess this is a hate it or love it car... i stand as i dont like it much, maybe im too used to sc with a hardtop?
anyways.... i guess we all sometimes want something we cant have right? haha

I think you should avoid any style hood that has that Cobra shape to the scoop.
I see that more on Muscle Cars and Domestics in general; but I don't think it suits an SC, or any Import at all really.

However; this does look much better than what it was..

love it, minus the hood, makes me miss my vert, wish they would of sold SCs with the vert option.

I never get tired of seeing this beauty.... good job B!
if i had a sponsorship to do this conversion in a hardtop application i would be all over it!!! cost would be about a cool $30 or so

Been trying to explore hood clearance options, My new setup is looking like hood interference could be a issue. The photo chop is a factory Camaro scoop I picked up. What I do like about it is its very low profile. Also looking at other options too. Really would like a stock hood but may have to sacrifice it at the expense of HP.

Make the motor go lower. Helps your handling anyway. Little cutting here, little welding there....... If the steering wasn't in the way you probably could actually drop the mounts a bit.
